Yorkshire-based Postcard Planning will be taken over by eVestor. The fee has not been disclosed.

The robo-adviser, launched in December and founded by Anthony Morrow, is backed by Duncan Cameron, who helped set up MoneySupermarket.

Postcard Planning founder and Chartered Financial Planner, Rohan Sivajoti, becomes advisory services director at eVestor.

He will have responsibility for the creation and delivery of the company’s advice proposition and will sit on the board.

Mr Sivajoti said: “The future of the UK advice market lies in the ability to combine market-leading technology, modern forms of communication and accessible human input within a competitively priced proposition and this is exactly what Anthony is aiming to do with eVestor.

“Joining the team at this early stage not only means I can influence the development of a new and hugely exciting venture, but also get to work with a highly experienced and successful team of entrepreneurs with a clear and compelling vision for the future and the necessary funding to make it happen.

“The deal represents a great opportunity for me and the team but also all of the Postcard Planning clients.”

Postcard Planning’s clients won’t automatically be moved onto the eVestor platform.
