The financial advice sector’s largest professional membership body is hosting its biannual graduation today.
Each year, the PFS invites all members who qualify as an Associate or Fellow, or achieve Chartered status, to one of two graduation days where they are formally recognised in front of hundreds of their friends and family members.
Of the 410 graduates formally recognised today, 222 have reached Chartered status, 37 have reached Associate level and 151 have been inducted as Fellows.
The PFS is hosting two ceremonies at the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Great Hall, where graduates will be formally congratulated for reaching a new status in their professional learning and development.
PFS chief executive Keith Richards commended the commitment shown by the newest group of PFS graduates.
"Each year the Personal Finance Society congratulates graduates who come from a variety of positions across our sector, but who all value the benefits of further study and strive towards greater levels of professionalism,” he said.
"Like those before them, this year’s graduates have shown an impressive commitment to learning and development, and have proven themselves as leaders and advocates of the financial planning profession.”
