Leeds-based Manse Capital, established in 1996, has snapped up Jill Parkinson from Chase de Vere. She has over 8 years’ experience in financial services.
She said: “It’s great to be joining Manse Capital as they are growing and have ambitious plans in place for the upcoming years.
“I’m especially excited to be joining as their first female adviser and believe this will strengthen the offering to the female advice market.
“In my time as an adviser I’ve supported numerous female clients with their Financial Planning, providing an easily understandable, jargon free service. I’m excited to be bringing this experience and expertise to Manse.”
She has expertise in estate planning and trusts.
Paul Everett, managing director of Manse Capital, believes Ms Parkinson will be a great success and said: “Jill, as a female planner, is one of a growing, but still not large number, of ladies within the profession.”
The firm, which said it had “ambitious plans in looking to expand all operational departments and service capability over the coming years” has also promoted another member of staff to the adviser team.
Mark Roe, previously a Financial Planning Analyst and a non-practising solicitor, has been promoted to adviser just ahead of completing his final exams towards being a Chartered Financial Planner. He has been with Manse Capital since 2015, following a 10-year career practising tax lax.
Manse stated it has a turnover of over £1.5million and 23 employees. It counts medical and dental Financial Planning and philanthropy among its various specialisms.
