The CISI branch was formed 25 years ago and members were joined at a celebratory event in Douglas by founding President Rodney Margot, Chartered FCSI(Hon) and current President Paul Kneen, Chartered FCSI.
The Isle of Man was one of the first UK CISI branches to have 100 of its members become personally Chartered, which CISI says demonstrated their “commitment to professionalism, integrity and ethics.”
Today the branch has over 300 members who attend a programme of continuing professional development events and workshops throughout the year.
Mr Margot said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to establish the IoM Branch over 25 years ago and to see it grow over this period.
“I would also like to thank all those who have been involved in its development and oversight over the years.”
Current President Paul Kneen, said: “Thanks to all who attended to help celebrate 25 years of CISI on the Isle of Man.
“CISI as an organisation has proudly helped to educate and support the careers of many professionals working in the finance sector over the last quarter century. Here’s to the next 25 years.”
