Financial Planning Today readers have backed the controversial axing of the Paraplanners Powwow name for ‘cultural appropriation’ reasons.

The Paraplanners Powwow movement is to change its name to the Paraplanners Assembly from today due to concerns about the “cultural appropriation” of native American traditions.

Organisers have spoken of a “great” Paraplanners Powwow last week.

Paraplanners are gathering in teepees in rolling hills in Aynho, Northants.
