The annual Paraplanners Powwow got underway this morning after a pizza and campfire welcome last night.
This year, the event’s seventh, will feature a new host, Rebecca Tuck, of Magenta Financial Planning.
It will also include The Lang Cat’s Mark Polson, who will be looking at the “state of the world” as well as ‘campfire’ and ‘pick and mix’ sessions throughout the day, on topics including centralised retirement propositions, investment research, financial wellbeing, Paraplanner top tips, report writing, bonds and collectives.
Organiser Richard Allum said: “The demand for events that help Paraplanners develop their skills is a strong as ever.
“For the seventh year in a row the Powwow has sold out.
“This is on top of the regular monthly online Howwows with an average of more than 250 Paraplanners getting involved.
“The Powwow wouldn’t happen without the various companies providing support again and their willingness to get involved and participate in an unconventional format shows how important they see the role of the Paraplanner to be.”
