SIPP and SSAS provider Alltrust has acquired failed firm Rowanmoor Personal Pensions Limited (RPPL) which went into administration in the summer after a flood of complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The Embark Group, parent company of Embark Platform, Vested, Rowanmoor, EBS, Hornbuckle and other businesses, made a profit of £100,000 in 2018 - reversing previous losses - on the back of a 22% increase in client numbers to 140,000.

The Embark Group has revealed its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2018, for its subsidiary, Rowanmoor Executive Pensions Limited and showed a big boost in pre-tax profits.
