A Labour Government led by Jeremy Corbyn coming to power is one of the biggest concerns investors have for stock markets in 2019, according to a new survey of over 700 investors carried out by AJ Bell.

Seven out of 10 (71%) investors anticipate a global equity market correction of more than 10% within 18 months.

Non-retired UK investors are saving a higher portion of their income for retirement than those in Europe, according to the annual Schroders Global Investors study. 

UK investors are expecting an average annual return of 8.7% on their investments over the next five years, according to fund manager Schroders which warns that these expectations are unrealistic.
