About 400 Financial Planners, Paraplanners, advisers, and wealth managers are attending the Morningstar Investment Conference UK, which began this morning.
The two-day event will bring together economists, leading fund managers, academics and industry experts to examine the key concerns and opportunities for investors.
Former Pensions Minister Steve Webb and Hargreaves Lansdown’s Tom McPhail are set to speak about the pension reforms later today.
Rory Percival, the former FCA technical specialist, is set to reveal the results of his review into the risk profiling tools market this afternoon.
Speakers include:
- Ariel Bezalel, Head of Strategy, Fixed Income, Jupiter Asset Management, on how bond fund managers can find special situations across sectors and geographic regions whilst maintaining the management of downside risk
- Iain Stewart, Investment Leader of the Real Return team, Newton Investment Management, on why he believes no one can promise absolute returns
