Advice firm hires trio including former professional golfer
A former professional golfer is among a trio of new advisers hired by an advice firm in the north of England.
Wealthcare has increased its staff numbers to 20 with the treble hiring.
Steve Hill, pictured below, who joins as a financial adviser, has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector and specialises in providing pensions and investment advice to individuals and corporate clients.
Lee Simons, pictured below, was a professional golfer from October 2008 for nearly a year and a half before entering the financial services industry.
He has a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice qualification from the London Institute of Banking and Finance. His role at Wealthcare will involve him dealing with all aspects of property finance. His remit also includes helping to build the firm’s client base in the south.
The Bury-based firm has also added Stewart Williams, pictured below, its team of mortgage advisers. He has more than 20 years’ experience.
His new role will be focusing on finance for commercial and residential developments, with a specialist emphasis on bridging and mezzanine funding.
Joint managing director Stephen Cainer said Wealthcare plans to hire more staff in coming months.
He said: “We are delighted to welcome three accomplished advisers to our team.
“Our continued progress means we are able to attract staff of the highest calibre as we push forward with our strategy of providing superior levels of support and advice to clients across the UK.
“As we increase our national footprint, we continue to seek hungry and determined professionals to bring into the business and drive Wealthcare forward.”
