Broadway MD gets key role to shape Financial Planning strategy
Broadway Financial Planning’s MD Keri Carter has been handed a leading role in shaping the CISI’s Financial Planning strategy.
Ms Carter CFPTM, Chartered MCSI, Chartered Wealth Manager, has become second vice chair to the CISI’s IFP Forum Committee.
Ian Howe CFPTM is the committee’s current chair and Martin Ruskin CFPTM the first vice chair.

The CISI IFP Forum Committee is responsible for defining CISI’s financial planning strategy and meets four to six times a year.
It aims to grow the CFPTM and Accredited Financial Planning Firms designations in the UK, develop and encourage the next generation of planners and promote planning to the consumer.
Ms Carter said: “I’m thrilled to be appointed to these two roles and look forward to continuing to promote pure financial planning within the CISI and the wider community.”
Jacqueline Lockie CFPTM Chartered FCSI, CISI Deputy Head of Financial Planning, said: “We are delighted that Keri has accepted the position of second vice chair after being a member of the committee for one year.
“We look forward to working alongside Keri and the other members of the committee as well as our Accredited Financial Planning Firms to help shape future initiatives for our globally respected Financial Planning members.”
The CISI said the committee’s success “depends greatly on the dedication and hard work of the members, who receive additional CPD hours for time spent attending these meetings”.
