Chartered Financial Planners chosen for best digital awards
Two Chartered Financial Planners have reached the final of a competition for the best digital innovators in their area.
Keith Churchouse FPFS CFPTM Chartered FCSI, and Martin Bamford CFPTM Chartered MCSI were selected as finalists for Surrey Digital Awards 2017.
Mr Churchouse’s robo-advice firm SaidSo has created a wealth dashboard app which is vying to win best mobile phone application.
Mr Bamford’s firm Informed Choice is up for best blog category for his podcast which has had about 40,000 downloads.
Mr Churchouse said: “The SaidSo team was delighted to hear that our innovative new SaidSo Wealth Dashboard App has been shortlisted for the ‘award.
“SaidSo is one of the very first fintech organisations to launch a dashboard solution to help consumers manage their expectations of future wealth. It’s user-friendly and highly interactive, allowing individuals to adjust their answers and play around with what they might want to achieve. Together with our developer partners, Kyan, we’re quietly confident of a great outcome for SaidSo at the Awards in March”.
Mr Bamford was delighted that Informed Choice Radio was chosen.
He said: “Our podcast is really going from strength-to-strength, with more than 160 episodes published to date and 40,000 downloads. There is huge scope for Financial Planners to create their own podcasts as a valuable client communication and education tool.
“Creating three new podcast episodes each week has also meant I get to interview a range of thought leaders, which helps with my own professional development, and improve my speaking and communication skills. We are keeping everything crossed ahead of the awards night on 9 March and wish Chapters Financial the very best in their category too.”
The event will be hosted by the former BBC presenter Robin Bailey.
