Chartered Financial Planners kick off football sponsor deal
A Wiltshire-based Chartered Financial Planning firm has agreed a sponsorship deal with a local football club, just weeks before the new football season begins.
Unividual will sponsor Swindon Supermarine FC, who ply their trade in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division 1 South & West, for the 2017/18 season having agreed a deal for an undisclosed amount.
The firm will also be sponsoring Swindon Supermarine’s Ladies team, who will be taking part in their second season in the Wiltshire County Women’s Premier League.
Unividual’s logo will appear on the front of the team’s home and away shirts, with the news coming at a time when the firm has increased its employee numbers from five to fourteen, just two years after they launched their own financial adviser academy.
The Wiltshire-based firm provides lifetime financial advice to families, individuals, business owners and companies across the UK.
Unividual, which features in the latest Financial Planning Today magazine (click magazine link at the top of home page), is a family run business co-ordinated by brother and sister Cherie-Anne and Lewis Baxter, alongside their father John Baxter, who founded the company in 2000.
Cherie-Anne Baxter, marketing director and part owner of Unividual, said: “For some time we have wanted to give back to the local community in an area we feel passionate about but we haven’t found the right partner.
“After meeting Steve Moore I could see right from the offset that the club’s main aim is to use its success and position to benefit the wider community through activities aimed at tackling social, health and education issues across Swindon and Wiltshire.
“Swindon Supermarine and Unividual share similar values and I know that our support will be put to good use.”
Jez Webb, chairman of Swindon Supermarine FC said: “All at Supermarine are delighted and are very appreciative for the support shown to us from Unividual.
“To have a company of Unividual’s stature pledging this kind of support in the Supermarine brand is a fantastic tonic for all at the club and will enable us to continue our work to serve a wide cross section of groups in the local community’.”
