Chartered Financial Planning firm to host charity golf day
Chartered Financial Planning firm Manse Capital - also a CISI Accredited Firm - is to host its first Charity Golf Day next month in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
The Leeds-based CISI accredited company will host the golf day at Otley Golf Club on the 14 September and hopes to raise £1000 for charity.
The day is open to clients, prospects, professional connections and golf players across Yorkshire and will include a light lunch, refreshments, an evening meal and a charity raffle.
Several businesses have already donated prizes for the event and Manse Capital is on the look out for other firms or individuals who are interested in taking part. Entries for teams will cost £200, while individuals who want to take part will have to pay £50.
The Jane Tomlinson Appeal was launched to honour the life of Jane Tomlinson CBE, who raised £1.8m for children and cancer charities before she died from cancer in 2007.
She became the first person with terminal cancer to finish the London Marathon in 2002 and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal has been supported by various sporting stars in the past, including Paula Radcliffe MBE, Steve Cram OBE and Sir Matthew Pinsent CBE.
Jessica Dodds, marketing manager at Manse Capital, said: “We are thrilled to be launching our first official charity golf day for our fantastic charities of the year.
“Our previous golf days at Otley Golf course have been a great success, so we cannot wait to share the experience with clients, prospects, professional connections and golf enthusiasts in aid of two life-saving causes.”
