Chartered Planner publishes 21st book
Chartered Financial Planner Professor Tony Granger has published his 21st book, focusing on corporate Financial Planning.
The new book, ‘Business Protection and Corporate Financial Planning’, has been written for Financial Planners, accountants, solicitors and business owners.
It covers business protection and wealth creation strategies for business owners.
It looks at dealing with business valuations, employee benefits, taxation, insurance and improving the efficiency of the business. It also covers future scenario planning including ESG and net zero objectives, and how to ensure business owners stay ahead of environmental compliance.
The book is recommended reading for the CISI’s Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.
Prof Granger said the book fills a major gap in the corporate Financial Planning sector.
He said: “This book meets the business protection and wealth creation needs of the business owner, and is ideal for the Financial Planner who works in the corporate marketplace to gain new clients and service existing ones’. Less than 5% of all businesses protect their key people – the guide shows the adviser how to value the keyperson and the shares in the business.”
This book is Prof Granger’s 21st on Financial Planning, with other books covering pensions, tax efficient investments, long term care planning, school and university fee planning, inheritance tax, business protection and succession planning and a guide on steps to take with bereavement.
He is an exam moderator for the CISI’s Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, a member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, is past president of the IFP in South Africa and CII IISMW in the UK. He is also a freeman of the City of London.
The latest book is published by MFS Books with a recommended retail price of £20. More information on the book and its author can be found at www.tonygrangerauthor.com
