CISI boosts CFP training with new partnership
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is teaming up with training firm Lockie Consultants to provide more support for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) candidates in the UK.
Lockie Consultants has become an Accredited CISI Training Partner for the Level 7 case study financial plan assessment: the final assessed part of the certification pathway to CFP.
The CISI, the 40,000 member professional body which awards the CFP designation in the UK, says it is partnering with Lockie to support the growth of the CFP designation in the UK.
Lockie Consultants is run by Jacqueline Lockie, herself a former head of Financial Planning at the CISI and an expert on the CFP qualification.
Lockie will provide free materials on its website along with four different course options. All courses include individual one-to-one coaching and/or group support.
Sally Plant, head of Financial Planning at the CISI, said: “I am delighted Lockie Consultants has joined the CISI as an Accredited training provider to support the growth of the CFP in the UK.
“Expanding our training offer is particularly important now as we see an increased demand for the CFP and we are shortly offering a new pathway to the market.”
Ms Lockie said: “Lockie Consultants is excited to be able to offer comprehensive online training and support for all those looking to become Certified Financial Planner professionals in the UK.
“The courses can cope with demand from all those interested in undertaking the financial plan element of this global certification.”
