CISI teams up with university to launch online finance e-learning
University of Derby and the CISI, the CFP-awarding professional body, have joined forces to offer students a new online finance course which could pave the way for them to join the financial services professions.
The university is the first Partner University to offer CISI qualifications alongside a global online e-learning course.
The programme offers students a chance to study for a CISI professional qualification, before finishing their degree.
The university will provide sponsorship for students to study for the CISI Level 3 Introduction to Investment or the equivalent International version.

The University online courses accredited to offer the qualification are:
- BA (Hons) Management Accounting (top up)
- BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance (top up)
- MSc Finance
CISI student membership is also part of the package for graduates who will be able to access the CISI’s CPD platform featuring 120 professional development e-learning modules.

The CISI awards qualifications to professionals working in securities, investment, wealth and Financial Planning. It has a global membership of 45,000 members in 104 countries.
