Expanding Sipp provider Curtis Bank has acquired rival Pointon York's Sipp business for an undisclosed sum.

"Following an extensive review, we have transferred the administration to Curtis Banks Ltd, with effect from 31 October. Curtis Banks is a large experienced provider of Sipps with robust systems and processes, and will continue to provide a high level of service in administering the Pointon York Sipps. Point York has told clients that their Sipp will continue to be operated "in accordance with the existing provisions". The company says Sipp will be administered by the same team in the company's Market Harborough offices and the Pointon York brand will continue. It adds that there will be no fee increases as a result of this change. All contact details remain unchanged, including the address, telephone numbers and email addresses.
