Dentons, the Sipp provider, is yet to make a decision on whether it floats on the Aim exchange, FP Today understands.
It has been widely reported today that the company was set to go ahead with an IPO as it looks at plans for potential acquisitions.
But it is understood that while Dentons is considering a listing on AIM, this is only one of a number of options the company has been considering.
No decision has yet been made, FP Today understands.
Martin Tilley, director of technical services at Dentons, said an AIM listing is among a “number of options” being considered to aid plans for acquiring new firms - which are an “ongoing consideration”.
He said: “If you are aware of Dentons and our financial strength and our growth prospects, we have made it clear before that we are in the acquisition marketplace and in order to fund those there are a number of options that we have considered."
A spokesperson earlier said that the company doesn’t comment on speculation or market rumours.
