Evelyn Partners hires investment director from Quartet
Wealth manager and Financial Planner Evelyn Partners has appointed Oliver Robson as an investment director.
He joins the firm from Quartet Investment Managers where he was investment director for five years.
He has 11 years of experience in multi-asset investment management and private banking.
Evelyn Partners said his new role would help drive the growth of the firm’s London office.

Oliver brings considerable senior investment management experience and I am confident he will play an important role in the continued growth of our business following our re-brand to Evelyn Partners and move into new offices in Gresham Street.”
Mr Robson will work with financial advisers and also directly with clients.
He said: “I am excited to be joining Evelyn Partners to provide advisers and clients with a world class investment management offering that harnesses the extensive suite of available services that the group has to offer.”
Mr Robson has experience in developing partnerships with financial advice firms to provide bespoke investment solutions. He has worked with offshore and onshore private clients, pensions, trusts, and corporate clients and has managed traditional and ESG/positive impact portfolios.
The appointment is the latest in a series of hires by the Financial Planning firm.
Evelyn Partners was created following the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson and manages or advises on £55.8 billion of assets. It claims to be the second largest UK wealth manager measured by EBITDA and the sixth largest professional services firm ranked by fee income.
It has offices in 27 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.
