The FCA has issued a scam warning about a firm called ‘My Scam Adviser’ which claims to help scammed investors recover their money.
The firm boasts it can help scam victims who have suffered loss.
The regulator says the firm, based in Israel but targeting UK investors, is not authorised by the FCA.
The company’s website was still live today and claims to offer a range of services including scam investment recovery, scam prevention and consultancy.

The watchdog has warned that scammers may give out other false details or change their contact details over time to new email addresses, telephone numbers or physical addresses.
The FCA has urged all consumers to check firms are authorised via the Financial Services Register. If a firm does not appear on the Register but claims it does, consumers can contact the FCA Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768.
