Financial Planning event features FCA's Rory Percival
FCA technical specialist Rory Percival is among the headline speakers at a Financial Planning conference which is expected to attract around 200 delegates next week.
Mr Percival, a regular guest at key Financial Planning and Paraplanning events, such as the annual IFP Conference, is one of the keynote speakers at the Distribution Technology Annual Conference on Wednesday.
The line-up will cover topics ranging from behavioural finance and the psychology of risk to the use of digital solutions in ensuring suitability.
It includes:
• Paul Craven, leading specialist in behavioural economics
• Daniel Morgan, Head of policy and regulation, Innovate Finance
• Simon Jack, Business Editor, BBC
• Stephen Gazard, Sesame Bankhall Group
• Dominic Rose, Bellpenny
• Jamie MacLeod, Bordier
This year’s conference will focus on the challenges of ensuring investment suitability in 2016 and beyond. The issues covered throughout the day will include investment planning and ensuring initial and ongoing suitability, retirement income planning, fund risk profiling and digitally supported advice.
Ben Goss, CEO of DT, said: “This year’s conference, keynotes and working sessions will address critical business and investment topics and offer a great opportunity to gain insights into best practice from both speakers and fellow delegates already using Dynamic Planner in their businesses.
“The backdrop to the day however is very much digital. With the Financial Advice market Review due to report imminently and the Government’s focus on how financial technology can be used to enhance access to investment advice, the day will give delegates a unique insight not only into the future for financial advice and planning but how DT can support them on their own digital journey.”
Over 190 delegates have already confirmed their attendance at the event, which provides 4 hours structured CPD, with some places still available to book.
The conference will held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SD.
