FE Fundinfo acquires product selection tool provider
Fintech and data firm FE Fundinfo has acquired adviser platform and product selection tool provider AdviserAsset.
The cost of the deal has not been disclosed.
FE Fundinfo said its acquisition of the due diligence and product selection tool provider will enable its clients to benefit from enhanced Financial Planning software solutions that can streamline client engagement and onboarding, financial research and planning, investment product selection and reporting.
Using AdviserAsset can also enable financial advisers to undertake product and platform switch analysis involving multiple client holdings.
AdviserAsset also has a large platform database to help advisers assess associated charges and benefits when switching platforms.
FE Fundinfo said the AdviserAsset tools will be integrated with the current product framework for all clients as a research and selection module powered by FE Analytics, FE fundinfo’s solution for fund research and analysis.
The acquisition is the latest in a series for the fintech and its eighth in the last three years.
The fintech acquired Frech fee fintech firm Adjuto last year.
Liam Healy, CEO at FE Fundinfo, said: “Professionals fundamentally want easy to use integrated tools that deliver clear recommendations, helping clients make informed decisions about their investment goals.
"We’ve already made several acquisitions to support advisers on this journey, and we will be continuously looking for new opportunities to deliver them greater access to investment insights.”
