Financial Planner Life and NextGen launch academy
Financial Planner Life Partners, an adviser training initiative, has partnered with training and support company NextGen Planners to launch The Financial Planner Life Academy which is offering training for a pay-as-you-go £19.99 a month subscription.
It will be aimed at anyone who wishes to join the Financial Planning profession and will focus on administration, mortgage and protection, Paraplanning, and Financial Planning roles.
The academy will offer a holistic approach to career progression in Financial Planning, said Sam Oakes, founder of Financial Planner Life and owner of recruitment company Recruit UK.
He said the academy will ensure each member receives personalised insights and support to navigate their professional paths.
Mr Oakes said: “We want to provide a clear-cut route into careers in personal finance and give people more choice of routes into planning, by giving them career education as well as exam and soft skills support.”
The integration of NextGen Planners’ exam support and soft skills training will amplify the academy’s flexibility, he said.
The no-contract subscription will cost £19.99 per month allowing candidates to fund their own exams, making the programme flexible for new entrants and second careerists who can study or continue to work while preparing for making the step into a career in personal finance.
At launch, the academy will support the Chartered Insurance Institute’s level 4 diploma and CII mortgage qualifications and will expand to CISI and LIBF exams over the first six months.
Adam Owen of NextGen Planners said: “Working with the Financial Planner Life team during the development of this academy has been a joy. Their passion for the profession shines through and the support that they will offer new entrants and second careerists through the academy will move the dial on the adviser gap.”
