Financial Planner pens auto enrolment book aimed at SMEs
A Financial Planner is on a mission to help untangle the complexities of auto enrolment for bosses of smaller firms and is set to launch a book to help achieve this aim.
Chris Daems, who co-founded AE in Box, has written the publication called Three Circles.
He is set to launch the book as his company celebrates its 1st ‘birthday’ next week.
Mr Daems, who is also director of Cervello Financial Planning, said: “Our mission is to ensure we help as many employers as possible comply both now and in the future. This is why on top of the help we're providing through AE in a Box we've also written Three Circles.
“It’s designed to help SME business owners and the professionals who work with them comply with auto enrolment.
“Jam packed full of practical tips, plain English explanations and easy to follow guides we're confident that Three Circles will be massively helpful both to employers as well as the professionals who work with them.”
Mr Daems recently told sister publication Financial Planner magazine that auto-enrolment could be a great boon for planners.
He said: “Over the next couple of years over a million small businesses will need to ensure they perform the tasks in order to comply with auto enrolment regulation. This seems like a huge opportunity but for many Financial Planners this opportunity also comes with a number of challenges.
“For many Financial Planners the increased administrative workload resulting in helping employers comply with auto enrolment is a major factor in the reason they have decided not to get actively involved in this particular marketplace.
“However most Financial Planners also understand that auto enrolment provides an opportunity to solve a pertinent and usually immediate problem for SME business owners. This then provides an invaluable opportunity to engage with the owners of these businesses and provide additional services, often helping them manage their individual wealth.”
Mr Daems will host a launch party on 19 November which will also celebrate the fact AE in a box is reaching one year.
