Chartered Financial Planners Beacon Wealth Management has this week teamed up for the 7th year with BBC Children In Need’s Pudsey Bear.
The popular fund-raising furry fella has spent two days – today and yesterday - with staff from the Cambridgeshire company, visiting the local community before heading back to the BBC Cambridge Studio.
Beacon Wealth helps raise money annually for the charity by taking Pudsey around local businesses. Taking Pudsey bear round the community helps raise awareness for Children In Need and promotes ‘helping those less fortunate’, says the company.
Pudsey is visiting places including Huntingdon, St Neots, Great Staughton, Hail Weston, Buckden and Chesterton.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s charity that provides grants to projects that focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.
The charity currently supports 2,400 projects that fund and help children facing issues such as poverty and deprivation, victims of abuse, neglect and disabled young people.
The BBC Children in Need charity holds many events across the country in addition to main Appeal Night which this year is on BBC1 next week on Friday 17 November.
Beacon Wealth Management offers corporate and personal finance management.
