The UK arm of global investment firm Brown Advisory has expanded its offering to include investment management specifically for US expats living in the UK. There are around 126,00 US nationals living in the UK and the service aims to meet demand for dual jurisdiction investment management. It will also offer dual currency tax reporting services. Often US expats find they are turned away from investment management firms due to complex regulation rules between the two countries. {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} Simon Peck, head of UK private clients at Brown Advisory, said: "A high proportion of US citizens in the UK are experienced and wealthy individuals. It is likely they will have built up assets on both sides of the Atlantic and wish those to be managed efficiently with one overall strategy. "We feel we are ideally placed to serve US expats given our heritage, deep understanding of investment solutions and sophisticated tax reporting." Brown Advisory hopes its sister offices in the US will help provide a seamless transition for expats should they decide to return to America. The firm has $40bn in private client and institutional assets and offices in 22 countries worldwide.
