Wealth management veteran Tyron Edmonds has acquired West Midlands-based IFA Jackson Hodge Wealth.
Mr Edmonds recently left SJP partner firm Morrison Wealth where he was CFO.
During his seven years at Morrison Wealth the firm went from a start-up to a firm with 50 advisers and £1bn of funds under management.
Sutton Coldfield-based Jackson Hodge Wealth was founded by Chris Jackson in 2009.
Mr Jackson will retire from the business to spend more time with family and pursue personal interests.
He said: “From the outset it is really important that there is a shared set of values and a client-first approach. Tyron is an experienced wealth management professional who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process.”
Mr Edmonds will be joined by Ben Hayward.
Mr Hayward was a member of the armed forces before joining the insurance industry and later transitioning to Financial Planning.
He was formerly a wealth consultant at SJP partner firm Eight Wealth Management.
Mr Jackson added: “Tyron and Ben will be a good fit for my clients, both of whom have a passion for building a wealth management business based on long-standing relationships and intergenerational planning.”
The deal was brokered by consultancy firm Gunner & Co.
