Hendrik van Dyk, Financial Planner at Fowler
Exeter-based Fowler Financial Planning has been granted CISI Chartered Firm status by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
The accreditation signifies that the firm is operating at the highest level of professionalism in Financial Planning, the CISI said.
Fowler Financial Planning was established in Exeter in 2016 by former corporate banker Matthew Fowler.
Mr Fowler is now a Chartered Financial Planner and director of the firm, which is an appointed representative of wealth manager St James’s Place.
Fowlers employs 10 staff, including four Financial Planners and two Paraplanners. It says on its website: “Our mission is to guide our clients through life’s financial journey.”
The CISI said the firm has successfully met rigorous criteria to achieve the status of CISI Chartered Firm. It said: “Status denotes that Fowler Financial Planning is operating at the highest levels of trustworthiness and professionalism expected in financial services.
"This includes at least 50% of staff individually chartered with the CISI – one of several criteria required to achieve CISI Chartered Firm status.”
Obtaining the CISI Chartered Firm designation allows consumers to recognise Fowler as a reputable practice.
Hendrik van Dyk, Financial Planner at Fowler, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been granted CISI Chartered Firm status – a recognition that reflects our commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in the financial services industry.
“The achievement not only validates our team’s dedication but also strengthens our promise to deliver trusted, client-focused advice.”
Tracy Vegro, CISI chief executive, said: “This is a wonderful achievement for Fowler Financial Planning and we are delighted to welcome them as a CISI Chartered Firm.”
