FundsNetwork has increased the number of investment trusts available on its platform by 12 to 66.
Some 12 new trusts have been added to FundsNetwork’s offering. These are: New India, BlackRock Commodities Income, CQS New City High Yield, European Assets, F&C Capital and Income, Henderson High Income, City Merchants High Yield, JPMorgan European Income, JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income, JPMorgan MidCap, Law Debenture Corporation and International Biotechnology.
FundsNetwork is an investment services platform run by Fidelity International which looks after more than £61.7 billion of assets for over one million investors.
The organisation decided to increase its range in order to ‘offer the most popular investments trusts in the market and broaden its range of exchange traded products.’
The addition of these new trusts means its clients now have access to 66 investment trusts and 80 exchange traded products.
Danny Wynn, head of fund partners at Fidelity International, said: “Since we introduced investment trusts on FundsNetwork in December last year, we have seen growing demand for these types of vehicles.
“In advance of delivering a full brokerage service, we are delighted to be able to announce that we are expanding our range following further feedback from advisory firms.
“In the meantime, we will continue to review and develop our proposition as part as of our ongoing commitment to support the evolving needs of advisory firms and their clients.”
