IFP conference exhibitors aim to dispel ETF misconceptions
Guest exhibitors described as being "at the forefront of the ETF revolution in the UK" will form part of a "mega stand" at the IFP annual conference next week.
Db X-trackers, the ETF business of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, will be exhibiting alongside a host of other companies, with the aim to dispel misconceptions surrounding the active versus passive management debate.
The firm has promised to have "a renowned professor on hand" to provide an academic perspective on the subject.

Other firms teaming up with Db X-trackers at the stand will be WH Ireland, Assetfirst, iFunds, WM Capital Management, Twenty20 Investments, and Charles Stanley Pan Asset.

Twenty20 Investments will be running a competition to help increase the awareness and the use of ETFs as part of the "mega stand".
Delegates can win an iPad Mini by building the best performing portfolio over the last ten years comprised of just two ETFs.
The idea is to choose two separate ETFs from a list of 84 to build a portfolios that is re-balanced on a quarterly basis with a 50% - 50% weighting scheme, and aims to demonstrate the power of diversification that ETFs offer the investor.
The entry that has the best performance of the last 10 years will win an iPad Mini.
