IFP holds first Accredited Financial Planning Firms conference
Members of the IFP’s Accredited Financial Planning Firms register are heading to London today (Thursday 22 March) for the first Accredited Financial Planning firms event.
The event, taking place at the Hilton London Kensington, is an exclusive event for firms on the register and the first time an event like this has been held by the IFP.
The programme has been written according to suggestions from firms as to what they would find most interesting and useful.
Speakers include chief executive of the Institute of Financial Planning Nick Cann, Jon Pittham from Clients First, Nick Blake from Vanguard and Julie Littlechild from Adviser Impact.
Topics include strategic planning, client engagement and costs and charges.
The event was preceded by a dinner the night before and is an opportunity for Financial Planners to network and share best practice with their peers.
There are currently over 40 firms on the register, 36 of whom will be attending the conference.
Sue Whitbread, communications director, said: "We’ve been delighted by the number of people that are attending the event. It’s the first event and one we’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
"We’ve got great speakers with great ideas who will be very useful but more important will be the networking between the firms themselves."
