Applications are invited from teams of up to four students who are studying at a UK university and wish to enter the 2012 University Team Challenge competition.
This competition was established in 2006 by the IFP along with sponsors Seven Investment Management (7IM) to support the development of the Financial Planners of the future. The winners receive great publicity and prestige as well as the fantastic prizes on offer which include a cash payment.
The teams must work together to create a comprehensive Financial Plan similar to that assessed through CFPCM certification.
The IFP provides experienced Financial Planning mentors to support the teams with their submissions which are assessed by a panel of judges. The closing date for submission of completed case studies is 27 April.
The awards are covered in Financial Planner magazine and elsewhere and many of the recipients go on to develop a career in Financial Planning.
If you are interested in taking part or know a team who would be, please contact Sue Leech, education director to find out more on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
