Last year’s sell out IFP Annual Conference received a fantastic response both in terms of support from the Financial Planning community and IFP supporters.
The IFP and the events committee have now reviewed the feedback which was supplied by over 50 percent of delegates, giving their feedback and letting us know why they chose to attend. As expected, the most important factors were professional development opportunities and programme content.
Over 75 per cent rated the event as a whole as eight out of 10 or above and 95 per cent confirmed that the event met or exceeded expectations.
Comments included: “There were some absolutely world class speakers with very powerful and relevant messages for financial professionals.” “Although I thought it would be good, this was by far the best conference yet. Excellent, varied and highly relevant speakers, wonderfully well organised, attendees willing to share best practice.”
In light of feedback, for the 2012 conference the IFP plans to include more sessions providing practical help and business support, to introduce new speakers to the programme as well as recording sessions.
