In a change to previous years, this year’s two-day Scottish conference and dinner will take place at the Marriott Glasgow.
This annual event is one to look forward to and there is always a great feeling of camaraderie and a willingness to share ideas.
A best practice workshop kicks things off on Monday 14 November and the sessions will give you plenty of ideas to put into practice. Alan Dick CFPCM will look at how he works with clients to draw out what are acceptable levels of risk to take in building financial plans, Ian Laverty will focus on marketing and Jonathan Gibson CFPCM will give an insight into joint ventures.
The conference on Tuesday 15 November offers keynote and track sessions including behavioural finance from Professor Steve Thomas of Cass Business School, an all important tax update from Tony Wickenden of Technical Connection and how to create a value proposition to attract ‘ideal’ clients from Abbie Tanner.
Daniel Priestley will round off the day with his enlightening session on becoming a key person of influence, which has previously received excellent feedback.
