This year, for the sixth time, the IFP will be running its consumer-focused annual Financial Planning Week.
The consumer awareness campaign will take place from Monday 25 November, and will involve a PR campaign led by Holt PR. In 2012, members showed strong support for the initiative with many firms organising activities and marketing campaigns.
Sue Whitbread, IFP communications director, said: "Reaching out to consumers like this means that we can show people the real value and benefits of sound Financial Planning and where they should go to seek professional advice.
"I'd encourage all readers to start thinking now about how they can get involved in November and to use the opportunity to boost their own business profile and brand into the bargain."
