Tickets sold out for the IFP conference
The Institute of Financial Planning has announced that this year’s conference is a sell-out.
There are now 600 delegates expected to attend the conference at the five star Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales.
The conference, held from the 3-5 October, is also celebrating 25 years of the IFP.
For those who still want to attend there are some day tickets available and a list of reserves if anyone cancels their place.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “We’ve got a great programme lined up at a great venue and to cap it all there are great people attending. Stand back and enjoy the ride!”
The programme includes sessions by Paul Etheridge MBE, tax expert Tony Wickenden, Prof Paul Palmer from the Cass Business School and John J Brennan, chairman emeritus of Vanguard.
Topic to be covered include retirement, investments, taxation, conficts of interest and business funding.
There are personal development sessions, workshops and keynote speakers.
Sessions are tailored to meet CPD categories and delegates can pick the most relevant sessions.
There is also a section especially for the needs of Paraplanners, following on from the successful IFP Paraplanner Conference earlier this year.
In the evening there will be an awards ceremony, a gala dinner and ‘IFP’s Got Talent’ talent show.
IFP president Marlene Shalton FIFP CFPCM, said: “There is always a great buzz and a hugely positive atmosphere and this year will be better than ever with the anniversary celebrations.
“If you are new to the IFP (or the conference itself) then prepare to be amazed.”
