I'm just back from the FPSB council meeting in Shanghai. It's always useful to meet up with our counterparts from other global territories to discuss the subjects we're all so passionate about – Financial Planning and CFP certification.

2014 has been an eventful year, busy, at times frantic, but as always there has been a lot of learning and a lot of laughter along the way.

What an exciting time of the year, wasn't Conference fantastic again. The buzz at the annual conference never ceases to amaze me, the speakers, the late nights and early morning.

Today is my birthday and as I write this article maybe it's the heat in the room but I am feeling rather philosophical, thinking about clients, planning, the meaning of life and so on, writes IFP President Rebecca Taylor FIFP, CFP^CM.
