IFP's first Financial Planning one day conference taking place this week
The very first IFP Financial Planning One Day Conference will take place in London this week.
The sell-out event, entitled ‘Financial Planning-the only way of doing business’, will be held at The Brewery in London on 23 February. More than 110 people are expected to attend the sold-out event.
Speakers at the event include Shane Mullins from Fiscal Engineers, Robert Lockie FIFP CFPCM from Bloomsbury Financial Planning, Tina Weeks from Serenity Financial Planning and Louise Oliver CFPCM and Claire Goodwin from Taylor Oliver.
There will be eight sessions available for delegates to attend on topics such as cashflow planning, building greater levels of trust and engagement, creating profitable Financial Planning relationships and the relationship between a Financial Planner and Paraplanner.
Kath Morgans, events manager at the IFP, said: “The sessions are trying to meet a need among members by covering topics which are technical and will hopefully help people in their business.”
The day aims to show how ‘real Financial Planning’ is suited to financial advisers and can be implemented into a successful business and is worth five hours and 15 minutes of CPD.
Sponsoring the day is wrap platform and IFP-sponsor firm Transact.
The day is the first in a series of new IFP events this year which aim to be more technical ahead of the RDR, similar to the best practice workshops held for members last year.
Previously, best practice workshops had only been open to IFP members but these new sessions will be open to everyone.
