Industry veteran Bambos Hambi has been appointed chief executive of Quilter’s multi-asset investment business Quilter Investors.
Mr Hambi has worked in the fund sector for over 30 years and joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments where he was head of multi-manager strategies.
He has worked for several major fund managers, including Gartmore and Rothschild Asset Management, and spend 10 years working at Quilter earlier in this career.
He will join towards the end of the year and takes over from Paul Simpson who is retiring.
Other recent hires for Quilter’s investment arm include Helen Bradshaw and Ian Jensen-Humphreys.

Quilter manages £95.3bn in client investments and has a number of businesses including a Financial Planning division.
