Bolton-based business advisory platform K3 Capital Group has formally changed its name to K3 Advisory Group.
The firm said the name change “reflected the evolution of the business into a more aligned advisory group.”
Over recent years K3 has expanded in scale and capability, bringing together specialist expertise across business sales, technology, business services, restructuring and personal wealth management.
The firm claimed the new name will provide greater clarity in the market and reinforce the group’s role as a partner for entrepreneurs, leadership teams and their advisers.
In June 2024 K3 acquired commercial property tax specialist HMA Tax for an undisclosed sum. HMA Tax specialises in helping commercial property owners and investors identify unclaimed capital allowances.
Michael Cauter, chief executive officer of K3 Advisory Group, said: “The landscape for entrepreneur-led businesses in the UK has evolved, and so have we. Our growth strategy has been deliberate, building depth across complementary disciplines so we can support entrepreneurs and their businesses through the moments that shape the future of their companies.
“The move to K3 Advisory Group reflects how we now operate - whether preparing a business for sale, navigating restructuring, strengthening tax positions or implementing the technology that enables the next stage of growth.”
K3 Advisory Group will continue to operate through its established specialist brands across its core divisions. Its specialist teams are based across 25 offices across the country.
