Details of latest Paraplanners' Powwow revealed
A series of events set up to get Paraplanners together to share ideas and best practice is set for a new venue.
Following in the footsteps of Paraplanner Powwows in London, Leeds and the inaugural one on farmland at Aynho on the Northamptonshire-Oxfordshire border there is now going to be a 'Powwow in the Middle'.
The unconventional styled conferences, which involved Paraplanners donning war paint and sitting in teepees on the first occasion, have been a hit since starting last year.
Rachel Kitching CFPCM is heading up the latest event.

She said: "Having signed up as participants in the nationwide Paraplanner Powwow – and feeling a bit inspired by the whole thing – a bunch of intrepid paraplanners had an idea: what if we hosted a series of smaller powwows that were closer to home?
"What if we could get together with paraplanners on our patch to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of Paraplanning?
"To create a meeting of minds about best practice. Held regionally. Just for paraplanners? "And that's where the idea of Powwow in the Middle came from."
The so called 'uncoference' follows the same Chatham House rules as the nationwide Paraplanners Powwow, with a round-table discussion format in which Paraplanners can get together to talk about the practicalities of day to day Paraplanning
life.
Ms Kitching said: "We want to share ideas freely and promote best practice and, while we want to hear your thoughts, you can rest assured that you're welcome to chip in as much or as little as you'd like."
Ideas for topics that will be up for discussion include:
• Sharing of ideas on processes, such as the review or research process
• What do you do that the clients love?
• Are your processes slick and streamlined?
The Powwow, which is free, takes place from 5pm-7.15pm on 14 April at the Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, Nottingham.
