Advisers are being urged to tune into a live broadcast tomorrow (11 November) to analyse the aftermath of the US election, Brexit and future of investing.
Panellists to feature in the web conference include fund managers, portfolio managers and chief investment officers from firms including:
• BNY Mellon
• Scottish Widows
• Architas
• BMO
• Square Mile
• Santander Asset Management
• Zurich
• AVIVA
• LGIM
The SimplyBiz Group has organised The Investment Show - to provide advisers with a “vital and timely update on the current shape of the investment markets and advice process”.
It will cover:
• the immediate and potential long-term effects of the US election and EU Referendum on the global economic landscape
• income investing
• low cost multi assets
• a regulatory perspective on today’s advice process.
Dan Russell, managing director of SimplyBiz Investment Services and Verbatim Asset Management, which will be hosting the event, said: “I think we can all agree that 2016 has been a year of surprises, both domestic and global. America has a new president and the ramifications of the election are already having a huge effect on the markets across the world, whilst the breadth of the impact of the EU Referendum in its entirety is still unknown.
“It’s during times of such uncertainty and market fluctuations that the service provided by advisers becomes even more valuable. When the economy is in a state of flux, clients look to their adviser for reassurance and guidance, and we want to ensure that we do all that we can to support advisers in being able to provide this service.
“We’re delighted to bring such illustrious speakers to The Investment Show and are certain advisers will find it valuable, whether they join us for the whole conference or just selected sessions.”
The web conference is open to the whole adviser community and places can be secured at www.theadviceshow.co.uk.
The event can also be watched again at the same address from 14 November.
