Manchester Planner firm staff raise £1.2m for charity
Workers at Manchester-based Pareto Financial Planning have raised more than £1.2m for charity in the last nine years.
Since being set up 2008, Parento has grown to employ more than 70 at its Spinningfields headquarters and now has more than £1bn of client funds under influence.
But it has also kept community and charity work as an important part of its philosophy and supported numerous local and national projects.
The firm said all Pareto employees embrace the ethos, with workers donating time and raising money in their spare time where they can.
More than £1.2m has been raised by the Pareto team since 2014.
Charities and projects which have have benefited include the Rainbow Trust, Beechwood Cancer Care, Manchester Mind, Centrepoint, Manchester City of Trees, Lifeshare, Tim Bacon Foundation, Wood Street Mission, The Christie Charitable Fund, Wood Street Mission, Cash for Kids, MedEquipforKids and Boot Out Breast Cancer.

John Stevenson was awarded with an MBE in the 2021 New Year Honours list for his support of cancer charities.
Pareto was founded in 2008 by John Stevenson and George Chantry. Turnover at the firm for the year to June 2022 climbed 22%.
