Towers Watson has announced further changes to its leading investments team. Ed Francis has been appointed head of the company's investment business, effective immediately. He succeeds Chris Ford who, after holding this position since 2011, assumed the role of global head of investment last month. {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} Mr Ford said: "I have worked with Ed for over a decade and have been impressed by his commitment to our clients and our Investment business. "He has served as a key member of the Europe, the Middle East and Africa leadership team for several years while working with some of our largest and most sophisticated clients. "I look forward to working with him on the global leadership team as he takes on the challenges of leading and growing our EMEA investment business." Mr Ford took his new role from Carl Hess who, after holding the position since July 2008, assumed the role of managing director of the Americas region and joins the company's executive committee. Mr Francis joined Towers Watson in 2001 from PricewaterhouseCoopers and has held various senior roles in that time. Towers Watson's Investment business has assets under advisory of over £35.9bn of assets under management.
