New Brown Shipley CIO starts role
Wealth planner and investment management firm Brown Shipley’s new chief investment officer has started his new role.
Toby Vaughan began his new position following his appointment in August.
He joined from Santander Asset Management, where he was head of the multi strategy solutions team and responsible for the oversight of more than £14bn of assets across a range of investments.
In his new role, Mr Vaughan will be responsible for Brown Shipley’s research and asset management unit and the firm says he will “lead efforts to further strengthen Brown Shipley’s investment capabilities.”
In his 17 years in the fund management industry Mr Vaughan and his teams have received a number of accolades and industry recognition for the management of portfolios and processes, including the Fund of Funds Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year award.

As of 30 September, Brown Shipley had £7.9bn assets under management.
