The Institute of Financial Planning is launching a new programme of CPD workshops for 2013.
These will help Financial Planners to meet their annual CPD requirements in a post-RDR world.
Certified Financial Planners and Fellows must complete 50 hours of CPD while other members must complete 35 hours, including 21 hours of structured CPD.
The IFP's workshops will offer a combination of technical presentations and interactive case studies.
Each London-based workshop will be on a dedicated topic:
• Retirement Planning - 12 February
• Ethics & Practice Standards - 30 April
• Estate Planning - 26 June
• Practice Management - 9 July
• Investment & Asset Management - 10 December
The workshops offer six hours of structured CPD each so by attending all the sessions, Financial Planners will find it easy to meet the hourly requirements.
There are discounts available when booking to attend two or more sessions.

Another event being held by the IFP next year is the Accredited Firms conference on 7 March.
This will be the second Accredited Firms conference held by the IFP since the launch of the register in October 2011.
There are almost 50 firms on the register and the conference gives firms an opportunity to meet each other, especially those who only joined the register recently.
