New Financial Planning brand launched after MBO
Financial Planning and wealth management firm Tcam Asset Management has today launched new branding, a new website and a new London office following a management buyout from Scottish-based law firm Turcan Connell.
The new London office is located on St James’s Square and is part of plans to have a stronger and permanent London presence. Haig Bathgate, co-CEO, has moved to London from Edinburgh to head the office and help build a stronger London and international client base. Over the coming weeks Tcam says it will be announcing new additions to the team.
Tcam, an international wealth and asset management firm, completed a management buyout from Turcan Connell in November 2015. Since the MBO, Tcam says it has been investing in its brand and technology to reflect the new direction of the firm. The firm says the new branding is designed to capture Tcam’s values including its Scottish roots and its expansion and new direction at the same time. The company’s new strapline is: “Driven by innovation. Built from tradition”.
The new logo features two upward pointing chevrons in place of the letter “A” which symbolises “growth, progression, positivity and forward thinking.”

A new website has also been launched at www.tcam.com which allows users to navigate more easily while still allowing clients to access the secure client portal. A larger emphasis has been placed on blogs and analysis to highlight the global view the firm takes on investments.
Haig Bathgate, co-CEO, said: “We have been working towards the launch of our new brand since the MBO back in 2015. We wanted to get it right first time and I think we have. Finally we have a brand that reflects us, our ethos, and the quality of the people we represent. Image is an important factor in our industry and we were selling our work short with the old branding. The fact that we have been able to tie the brand launch in with the new London office allows us to really get our name out there with confidence.
Alex Montgomery, Co-CEO, said: “This whole re-branding process has been a good experience for us and our team. It has allowed us to strip everything back, to focus on all we do for our clients and to understand who we are at our core.”
