New international SIPP launched for UK expats
Trireme Pension Services, a cross-border pension specialist based in the Channel Islands, has launched a new self-invested personal pension (SIPP) designed for UK expats.
The company, part of global financial services business PraxisIFM Group, says it has developed The Trireme International SIPP in response to market demand.
Trireme co-founder and director of business development Richard Garrod said that the firm had received adviser requests for the SIPP.
He said: “The SIPP is built around the need for a pension to be a straightforward, system-driven and transparent and is competitively priced to meet the needs of the international marketplace.”
The Trireme International SIPP has no minimum or maximum investment levels and accepts transfers from other UK registered pension plans as well as personal contributions.
The underlying UK trustee services and administration will be provided by Hartley Pensions Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Michael Baber, technical director at Hartley Pensions said the firm was pleased to be working closely with Trireme.
The SIPP is available now for paper applications with full online capability available later this month.
Trireme Pensions Services consists of Trireme Pension Services (Guernsey) and Trireme Pension Services (Malta). Trireme employs 22 staff in offices in Malta and Guernsey and is part of global financial services company PraxisIFM which employs 550 around the globe.
