Octopus Investments has announced the appointment of a new area sales director from Old Mutual Wealth.

Nick Jones, who has held senior positions at Ascentric and Aegon, has joined from Old Mutual Wealth where he worked in a number of sales manager roles since 2008.

His most recent position was head of sales in the South where he was responsible for delivering and co-ordinating their UK sales strategy throughout the region.

Mr Jones will be responsible for looking after the central and west UK regions.
